Vacation Highlights.
On Friday we packed bicycles, laptops, and baby toys and drove to Tybee Island (just south of Hilton Head) and spent the night with some friends. The next day we visited and then drove to Hilton Head. Just as we were entering Hilton Head we saw a jeep crash into the back of a white van. The jeep drivers fled but Mary got part of their license and another witness got the other part. The white van hit the curb and demolished a front wheel. The van had people from New York just arriving.

We checked into unit 5223 Waterside by Spinnaker resort on Saturday. The unit featured 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, washer-dryer. On Sunday, our son Michael and his family joined us.

On Wednesday it got cold with a high of about 55F. We took our car to the shop because a "service engine soon" light came on. It needed a new thermostat.
